Word on the street is that the 80s are making a quick comeback, and that was definitely the case at BYU-Idaho this past Saturday. Students brought back the leg warmers, pumps, and big hair for the "We've Got 80s" Talent Show.
This is the first 80's talent show and it was a successful blast from the past. The performers and audience were able to dig in an get a taste of what the 80's were like.
"My mom has always been super into the 80s stuff but I was always like 'oh, whatever,' but doing this has been so much fun to just explore the 80s a little bit more." Stephanie Sanders.
The show was a fun and exciting experience for many bands and performers on campus that wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to come out and show off their talents and love for the 80s.
"It was wonderful. It was a blast. It was awesome. Loved it." Half an hour ago.
Students danced and sang the night away to popular 80s beats that got the crowd up and moving. The audience was also able to get up and show off their old 80s attire, which seems to be growing more popular by the day. So dig up your old spandex and headbands and get ready for a return of the 80s.
"Get your Rubix Cube and your jumpsuit or leopard pants. If all else fails, watch Back to the Future a few times through." Half and hour ago.
