Carlos: This month marks forty months since the beginning of construction of the new auditorium. Students may have noticed in the front of the building an architects rendering of how the building once completed will appear.

Girl Student “I have seen what the plans are and they look very good.  I’m excited to see it so, yeah!”

Carlos: However, very few students have been shown what the inside currently looks like. I-news was given a special tour of the new auditorium and gym. So buckle your seat belts, your in for a ride! With room for 15,000 people the auditorium bears a striking resemblance to the Churches Conference Center at Temple Square. The designers say the building will be used for events of a more spiritual nature. Events such as graduations and ces firesides. 

Brother Nielson: " Even though it is dedicated by the Apostles, the Hart gym, doesn't have the same spirit as a place 

that was specifically dedicated for meetings like devotional."

Carlos: The East side of the new building will become a gym with 10 basketball courts. Plans include moving all intermuearal basketball programs out of the Hart building and into the new building.

Brother Nielson: "Mixed boys and girls, just girls, guys who don't play basketball well and they know it"
